Description

The 1984 Donruss Champions set featured Dick Perez artwork of ten "Grand Champions" alongside modern stars pursuing their records. This 60-card series holds a unique place amongst its 1980s Donruss contemporaries. Presented is a collection of nine "Grand Champion" #31 Cy Young cards, all signed by a different member of the 300-win club. Also includes an additional unsigned copy of #31 with "300 WINS" added on the front. The nine cards have been single-signed by the following players: Blyleven, Carlton, Niekro, Perry, Ryan, Seaver, Spahn, Sutton ("324 Wins 3574 K's" inscription), and Wynn. The condition of the cards is Ex-Mt to Nr/Mt overall, with two lesser (Spahn and Wynn) due to stickers on the backs. Total: 10 cards. Auction LOA from James Spence/JSA.
