Complete 30-card set of R108 "Pulver Pictures" cards issued by the Pulver Co. of Rochester, New York in 1935. This colorful set depicts various types of weaponry and battle scenes ranging from David vs. Goliath to tank usage during World War I. The following thirteen cards have been professionally graded and encapsulated by PSA: #102 (EX 5), 104 (EX-MT 6), 106 (EX-MT 6), 107 (EX-MT 6), 108 (EX 5), 111 (EX 5), 116 (EX-MT 6), 117 (EX-MT 6), 118 (EX 5), 120 (EX-MT 6), 121 (EX 5), 123 (NM-MT 8 [OC]), and 129 (VG-EX 4). The condition of the seventeen-card unencapsulated balance is Ex-Mt, four Vg-Ex, eight Vg, two Gd, Fr, and Pr. This is also an extremely rare set! R108 "Pulver Pictures" cards have always been very highly prized by advanced nonsport-card collectors and this rare set would make a significant addition to almost any 1930s nonsport-card collection. Total: 30 cards.
