Partial set (114 out of 153) featuring early twentieth-century "Athletes and Prize Fighters" issued with Hassan and Mecca tobacco products. The T218 issue includes boxers and various champion athletes of the era, including bowlers, billiards champions, and track-and-field stars. Includes a duplicate of Flanagan/waist up. This collection consists of ninety-one Mecca advertising backs and twenty-four Hassan. Missing the following thirty-nine cards for completion: Attell, Baldwin, Cline, Cloughen, Cross, Cutler/portrait, Daly, Delmont, Demarest, Deshler, Donahoe, De Oro, Douglas, Driscoll, Hamilton, Hayes, Herreshoff, Hobens, Hoppe/portrait, Hyland, Johansson, Johns, Jack Johnson/side pose, Johnstone, Keogh, Ketchel, Kiviat, McEntee, McFarland, Moisant, Moringstar/billiards, O'Toole, Rector, Riddell, Sellen, Smith, Sutton/billiards, Trubenbach, and F. Welsh. Condition is 21% Vg-Ex (including some Ex), 59% Vg to Vg, and 20% Pr to Fr. Four cards have been professionally graded and encapsulated by PSA.
