Kirby Puckett Louisville Slugger signature-model "P116" bat, dating from his 1993 season with the Minnesota Twins. Graded GU 8 by PSA/DNA. The cupped-end bat displays evidence of light-to-moderate use along its entire length, including a few ball marks (with blue ink transfers) and streaks due to contact with other bats. Puckett's number ("34") is written in blue marker on the knob and top barrel. Puckett has also signed the left barrel in blue marker. Puckett turned in another All-Star season in 1993, hitting .293 with 22 home runs and 89 RBI. Although his career was brief (1984-1995), his accomplishments were many, including one batting title, ten All-Star Game appearances, six Gold Glove Awards, and eight seasons of batting .300 or better. He also led the Twins to two World Championships over that span. He was elected to the Hall of Fame in 2001. Length: 34.75 inches. Weight: 31.5 ounces. Full LOA from John Taube of PSA/DNA (bat only). Full LOA from James Spence/JSA (signature only). The size/weight of this item requires that there will be an additional shipping charge for this lot.
