Description

Texas Rangers home jersey worn by manager Don Zimmer during the 1981 season. The white knit jersey is lettered "Rangers" across the front and features the number "23" on the reverse. All letters and numerals are appliquéd in red on blue tackle twill. The team's logo adorns the right sleeve. A "Rawlings 44" label and a "Set 1 1981" flag tag appear along the reverse of the right front tail. Zimmer has signed the jersey in black marker on the front. The jersey is original as issued, with no alterations, and displays light-to-moderate wear, with scattered patches of light staining. Auction LOA from James Spence/JSA (for the autograph only).
