Description

Reggie Jackson Rawlings/Adirondack block-letter (full name) model "288RJ" bat, dating from his 1984 season with the California Angels. Graded GU 9 by PSA/DNA. The bat, which features a handle crack, displays evidence of moderate use, including a few ball marks and ball stitch impressions. Jackson's number ("44") is written in faded gold marker on the knob. The bat is also signed by Jackson in silver paint pen along the barrel. In 1984, nearing the end of his historic career, Jackson batted .223 with 25 home runs and 81 RBI, earning his 14th and final All-Star selection. One of the game's most controversial and charismatic players, Jackson finished his career with 563 home runs, 1,702 RBI, and a .262 batting average. He was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1993, his first year of eligibility. Length: 34.5 inches. Weight: 32.8 ounces. Full LOA from John Taube PSA/DNA (bat only). Basic certification from Beckett (signature only). The size/weight of this item requires that there will be an additional shipping charge for this lot.
