Complete 80-card set of this landmark Fleer issue devoted to the career and life of "The Splendid Splinter." The set includes an attractive SGC EX 5 example of rare card #68 "Ted Signs," which features Ted with Red Sox General Manager Bucky Harris (himself a Hall of Famer). This card was withdrawn from production due to legal issues relating to Fleer's unauthorized use of Harris' image. Condition is 40% Nr/Mt to Nr/Mt-Mt, 28% Ex to Ex-Mt, 17% Vg to Vg-Ex, and 15% lesser. We have selected three cards for grading and encapsulation by SGC.
