1940 R83 "Lone Ranger" collection of the first 36 cards (#1-36) of the 48 in the set. Gum, Inc.'s 1940 "Lone Ranger" series is one of the most popular nonsport sets ever issued. Its outstanding color, detailed artwork, popular subject matter, and the exciting adventures presented on the backs, all contribute to making this set one of nonsport collecting's all-time classics. Lone Rangers were printed in sheets of twenty-four cards and issued in two separate twenty-four card series. This collection represents a complete set of the low-number series cards. Condition is 16% Vg-Ex or slightly better, 36% Gd to Vg, and 48% Pr to Fr (including two trimmed).
