Presented is an attractive collection of 18 different cards (out of the 20 cards in the set) from the 1954 Wilson Franks set, one of the most desirable of all 1950s food issues. The near-complete set is highlighted by Hall of Famers Bob Feller, Nelson Fox, Gil Hodges, Red Schoendienst, and Enos Slaughter. Missing only Roy Campanella and Ted Williams for completion. Keys: Feller (POOR 1 [MK]), Fox (Gd), Hodges (100/0 T/B, otherwise Vg), Schoendienst (Gd), and Slaughter (slight trim to top edge, otherwise Vg due to centering). Five additional PSA-graded cards: Ennis (GOOD 2 [MC]), Groth (POOR 1 [MK]), Jablonski (GOOD 2 [MC]), Richards (VG 3 [MC]), and Stephens (GOOD 2). The condition of the eight-card balance is two Vg-Ex, two Vg, and four Gd. This is a rare opportunity to acquire a significant foundation for the assembly of an attractive medium- to lower-grade complete set of this extremely popular 1950s food issue. Total: 18 cards.
