Presented is a near-complete set of 1954 Topps baseball consisting of 247 different cards (out of 250 in the set), missing only #10 Robinson, 94 Banks, and 128 Aaron for completion. The 1954 Topps set has always been one of the most popular sets of the 1950s. This near set features the rookie cards of Al Kaline and Tommy Lasorda along with many other Hall of Famers and stars, including two examples of Ted Williams (first and last cards in the set), all in brilliant color. Condition is 22% Ex-Mt to Nr/Mt (approximately two-thirds Ex-Mt), 66% Vg-Ex to Ex, and 12% Gd to Vg (including a couple lesser). We have selected seven cards to be professionally graded and encapsulated by SGC. Keys: #1 Williams (VG 3), 3 Irvin (Ex), 13 Martin (90/10 L/R, otherwise Vg-Ex+), 17 Rizzuto (Ex), 20 Spahn (EX/NM+ 6.5), 30 Mathews (Vg), 32 Snider (Vg-Ex+), 36 Wilhelm (Ex), 37 Ford (NM 7), 45 Ashburn (Ex), 50 Berra (Vg-Ex), 70 Doby (Pr), 90 Mays (VG/EX 4), 102 Hodges (Ex), 132 Lasorda RC (EX/NM 6), 201 Kaline RC (VG/EX+ 4.5), 239 Skowron RC (Vg-Ex+), and 250 Williams (VG 3). This is a very attractive mid- to high-grade near-complete set of this 1950s classic. Total: 247 cards.
