Original uncut strip of q0 cards from the 1923 W515-1 strip-card set, highlighted by four Hall of Famers, including Babe Ruth and Ty Cobb. The popular W515-1 strip-card set consists of 60 different Major Leaguers. This issue was originally sold in horizontal strips of 10 (as offered here), which were intended to be cut apart by hand by youngsters. Surviving uncut strips are rare. This uncut strip is all the more remarkable as it includes #3 Ruth and #10 Ty Cobb. The balance of the players featured are #1 Cunningham, 2 Mamaux, 4 Bancroft (HOF), 5 Rommell, 6 Adams, 7 Walker, 8 Hoyt (HOF), and 9 Shawkey. The panel is bright and clean with vibrant colors and outstanding registration. Both the left and right edges are missing pieces. Technically in Poor condition. The strip, which measures 13.75 by 2.25 inches, offers a superb opportunity to acquire an uncut strip of W515-1s in its original form, highlighted by legendary Hall of Famers Babe Ruth and Ty Cobb.
