Complete set of this classic nonsport issue. Fleer's 1959 "Three Stooges" set is recognized as one of the most popular nonsport issues of the era. This set was issued when the Stooges' movie shorts were being introduced on television for the first time to a new generation of youngsters. The exposure revitalized their careers, giving them a second chance to entertain millions. This second shot of stardom resulted in even greater popularity than they had experienced in the 1930s and 1940s and ingrained the Stooges' comedy into the consciousness of America and popular culture.
