Presented is a remarkable complete set of one of the rarest and most fascinating of all Topps Test nonsport issues: The 1967 Topps "Krazy Little Comics" set. The set consists of sixteen eight-page booklets that are designed as mini comic books. Each booklet is a spoof on a particular comic book super hero with titles such as "Amusing Spider-Guy," "Badman," "Captive America," and the "Incredible Hunk." Each booklet is extremely fragile due to its stock and is naturally susceptible to damage. The condition of the set is one Nr/Mt ("The Meekly Thaw," graded SGC NM 84), seven Ex to Ex-Mt, six Vg to Vg-Ex, and two slightly lesser. Almost all of the booklets are bright and crisp but have been downgraded due to minor technical concerns, such as a crease or tiny tear. The example of "Blunder Woman" is in its original uncut proof form prior to being assembled into a booklet. The "Blunder Woman" sheet (5 x 7.5 inches) is bright, crisp, and clean, with vibrant colors, and square corners. Light wrinkles are visible, mentioned strictly for accuracy. This uncut sheet was originally saved by Topps as an example for their files but was later sold by the company after opening the Topps Vault. The sheet is accompanied by a COA from the Topps Vault affirming its special provenance. The "Krazy Little Comics" booklets are among the scarcest and most desirable of all 1960s Topps Test nonsport issues, and this set would be an outstanding addition to any advanced nonsport-card collection. Total: 16 booklets.
