Lot # 1106: 1950 Bowman Complete Set (252) Including 17 PSA-Graded Cards

Presented is an outstanding near-complete set of 1950 Bowman baseball, missing only two cards (#75 Roy Campanella and 98 Ted Williams) for completion. The 1950 Bowman set is often overlooked by collectors simply because it does not include a Mantle or Mays rookie, but this was a landmark set in its day, being the first postwar baseball issue to feature full-color artwork instead of photographs. Condition is 18% Nr/Mt to Nr/Mt-Mt, 54% Ex to Ex-Mt, and 28% Vg to Vg-Ex (including a couple lesser and a couple with a slight trim). Seventeen cards have been professionally graded and encapsulated by PSA.
