Pair of cleats worn by Hall of Fame shortstop Derek Jeter during the game in which he recorded his 2000th career hit. Jeter reached the milestone via an infield single against the Kansas City Royals on May 26, 2006, at Yankee Stadium, becoming just the eighth player in franchise history to reach the mark. He has signed each of the Nike cleats "Derek Jeter/2000th Hit/5-26-'06" in silver paint pen. The cleats (size 11.5) display wear commensurate with their game-usage. An outstanding pair of game-used cleats dating from a historic game that would be a worthy addition to any world-class Derek Jeter collection. Auction LOA from James Spence/JSA. Full LOA from MEARS. Steiner COA.
