Lot # 3170: 1976 Isaly's Sweet William Discs Complete Set Collection (11 Sets, 770 Discs)

Presented is a very attractive high-grade collection of eleven complete sets of 1976 Isaly's/Sweet William Discs (70 discs per set). The collection includes an impressive 253 Hall of Famers (23 per set), highlighted by Hank Aaron, Johnny Bench, Nolan Ryan, Mike Schmidt, and Tom Seaver. Originally distributed as a premium at Pittsburgh-area Isaly's stores and Sweet William restaurants, a large quantity of leftover discs eventually found its way into the hobby. These high-grade sets are in uncirculated condition, grading Nr/Mt-Mt to Mint overall, with approximately 8% lesser (due mostly to centering). A very substantial collection of this unusual regional issue, loaded with stars and Hall of Famers. Total: 770 discs.
