Collection of six vintage photos, each capturing a different moment as Mickey Mantle slides into second base against the Brooklyn Dodgers during the fourth inning of Game 1 of the 1936 World Series. Dodgers shortstop Pee Wee Reese is seen applying the tag in one photo, while the others show him getting taken out by Mantle and the immediate aftermath. The photos, which range in size from 7 x 9 inches to 10 x 8 inches, all bear one or multiple of the following on the reverse: photo service credit stamp(s), and/or editorial markings. The condition of the photos ranges from Fair to Very Good. Please note that one photo is accompanied by a full LOA from PSA/DNA, which has deemed it to be an original Type I example. Total: 6 photos.
