Modestly graded example of one of the key cards from this rare and popular 25-card sepia-toned postcard set, featuring Ty Cobb shaking hands with Honus Wagner during the 1909 World Series. This image is widely recognized as being one of the most classic to ever appear on a baseball card. Graded POOR 1 by SGC (submitted by REA) mostly due to multiple creases and excessive toning front and back. The card has never been mailed and has two penciled notations ("125 Markt St" and the number "15-") on its traditional postcard reverse. Very presentable low-grade example featuring two of the era's most legendary stars, from one of the rarest and most popular of all postcard issues. Dimensions: 3.5 x 5.5 inches.
