Extremely desirable example of Tony Lazzerifrom the 1926 M101-7 Sporting News Supplements series. These large (7 x 10 inches) sepia-toned player photos were issued as a weekly supplement by The Sporting News. The premium is printed on thin stock and depicts Lazzeri standing outside of the dugout holding his bat. The fragile paper stock of this issue makes high-grade examples extremely rare, and flaws such as light wrinkling, creasing, or tearing "come with the territory." The offered example is bright and crisp with a flawless image. Graded POOR 1 (MK) by PSA due to scattered creasing and writing on the reverse (hence the qualifier). A very presentable 1920s premium featuring this popular Hall of Famer.
