Lot # 2057: 1950s New York Giants Single-Signed Baseball Collection (32)

Collection of 32 signed baseballs (two dual-signed, balance single-signed) consisting exclusively of former New York Giants players from the 1950s. This collection is highlighted by Red Schoendienst and many other tough-to-find signees. Unless otherwise noted, all the signatures appear on the sweet spot of an official Major or National League baseball dating from the 1980s or later (except for two National League Giles balls, five American League balls including one Harridge, one World Series ball, one Gold Glove ball, and two non-official balls). The signatures have been scripted in a variety of inks. Four of the offered baseballs have full JSA LOAs while nineteen others have basic individual authentication from JSA or PSA/DNA. Most of the balls have varying degrees of age toning. Otherwise all are in Excellent to Mint or better condition overall (with a couple lesser). In this auction we are offering two other New York Giants signed baseball collections from the 1951 and 1954 rosters. This lot does not include any players from those rosters, as this is a collection of players from other 1950's rosters.
