Lot # 100: 1907-1909 PC765 A.C. Dietsche Detroit Tigers Team Postcard with Ty Cobb PSA POOR 1

Scarce real-photo postcard capturing the Detroit Tigers in a classic team pose issued in 1909 by A. C. Dietsche. Twenty-two team members are pictured posing on the field in front of the grandstand, including Ty Cobb, manager Hughie Jennings, Sam Crawford, and George Mullin. The Dietsche Detroit Tigers postcard set, which consists of 42 cards, was issued in three series from 1907 to 1909. The team card offered here is one of the four cards issued in the final series in 1909. The postcard (5.5 x 3.5 inches) has a number of moderate creases, heavy corner and edge wear, and ink marks on the front. There is no writing on the reverse. Graded POOR 1 by PSA.
