Lot # 2004: 1931 Ty Cobb Twice-Signed Check PSA/DNA NM-MT 8

Bank check dated September 20, 1931, and signed in black ink twice by Hall of Fame outfielder Ty Cobb. The check, drawn on The Anglo & London Paris National Bank, is made out to “Cash” in the amount of $50. Signed “Tyrus R. Cobb” along the base and again on the reverse as an endorsement. PSA/DNA has encapsulated the check, grading the Cobb signature on front as GEM MINT 10 and the second Cobb signature on the reverse as EX-MT 6. The combined grades result in the overall NM-MT 8 assessment by PSA. The check (8.5 x 3 inches) has normal bank cancellation stamps and perforations as well as a few light creases. Also, a portion of the check ledger book (three-quarters of an inch) has been affixed to the left side of the check. In Very Good condition overall. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
