Graded EX 5 by PSA. This is the ONLY example graded at this level by PSA with none higher! Full ticket/bond (2.25 x 6 inches) to the special "Tri-Cornered War Bond Game" held at the Polo Grounds on June 26, 1944, just 20 days after D-Day. This round-robin exhibition game was played between the Brooklyn Dodgers, New York Giants, and New York Yankees to help raise money for the war effort. The majority of the 50,000 people in attendance secured admission by purchasing tickets/bonds ranging in value from $25 to $1000 (like the offered example). In total, about $4.5 million worth of war bonds were sold.
