Rare ticket stub issued for Game 4 of the 1913 World Series between the Philadelphia Athletics and New York Giants, held at Shibe Park in Philadelphia. Graded EX 5 by PSA ("Rain Check" portion of the ticket stub). This is one of only two 1913 World Series Game 4 ticket stubs graded at this level by PSA with none higher. Chief Bender defeated Al Demaree 6-5 in Game 4 to give the A's a commanding 3-1 lead in the Series. The next day Eddie Plank defeated Christy Mathewson to close out the Series, which gave Connie Mack his third World Championship in four years. The ticket stub (1.75 x 2.5 inches) displays light handling wear. An outstanding example of this scarce World Series ticket stub.
