Rare full ticket issued for Game 5 of the 1911 World Series between the New York Giants and Philadelphia Athletics held at the Polo Grounds in New York on October 25. Graded FAIR 1.5 by PSA. This is one of only five full tickets to Game 5 of the 1911 World Series listed in the PSA Population Report. The Giants defeated the A's 4-3 in 10 innings in Game 5, with Doc Crandall gaining the win in relief, and Hall of Famer Eddie Plank taking the loss in relief. The A's defeated the Giants the next day in Philadelphia to win the Series in six games. The ticket (4.5 x 1.5 inches), for a "Lower Grand Stand" seat, displays a cancelation punch along the base, scattered light creases, and a large area of surface paper loss on the reverse from having been removed from an album.
