Description
Player-transfer notice between the Mobile Bears (Southern Association) and Brooklyn Dodgers, dated April 14, 1948, and signed by Hall of Fame executive Branch Rickey. The notice indicates that the Dodgers have sent the contract of player Cal Abrams to the Mobile Bears. It has been signed in black ink along the base by Rickey. The notice (6-1/8 x 4-1/8 inches) displays a vertical fold down the center and is in Excellent condition overall. Auction LOA from James Spence/JSA.
