Graded VG-EX 4 by PSA. Ticket stub (4 x 2.25 inches) issued for Game 1 of the 1965 World Series held between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Minnesota Twins at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles on October 6th. Game 1 is best remembered for who didn't play, Sandy Koufax, who sat out for Yom Kippur as his Dodgers fell to 8-2 to the Twins. Upon returning in Game 2, Koufax dominated the rest of the World Series in historic fashion. He threw three complete games, posted a microscopic .38 ERA across 24 innings with 29 strikeouts, and closed it out with a two-hit shutout in Game 7 to earn World Series MVP honors.
