Boston Red Sox Hall of Famer Ted Williams from the 1973 Laughlin "Super Stand-Ups" baseball series. This scarce series of player stand-ups was created by artist Bob Laughlin in the early 1970s. This unusual issue was designed with a star player's die-cut cartoon body attached to an easel back for one to display. When originally issued in the early 1970s they retailed for $3.50 each. Laughlin has signed the piece in blue ink on the reverse. In addition, a notation in blue ink on the reverse reads "A Sports Nostalgia Store Exclusive." The die-cut cardboard display (8.25 x 10.5 inches) is complete with its easel back. In Very Good condition overall.
