Description

Vintage photo capturing Ted Williams and Babe Ruth posing together in 1943. Certified as original Type II photo by PSA/DNA. Per PSA/DNA, the "photo is a later issued 1948 restrike that was made off the original negative featuring an image originally taken by (George) Lyons on July 12, 1933, during a fundraising game held during the fifth annual Mayor Tobin Field Day, Fenway Park." The photo, which has been trimmed to its current dimensions of 9 x 12-1/8 inches, displays scattered creasing and a pencil mark along Ruth's pant leg. Fair condition overall.
