Description
Original news photo capturing Ted Williams as a member of the Boston Red Sox during spring training in 1940. Encapsulated and certified as an original Type I photograph by PSA/DNA. Williams is captured at the plate in a swing-through pose. The reverse features the original "Associated Press" news caption and a collector's stamp. The photo, which has been trimmed to its current dimensions of 4.25 x 5 inches, displays rippling throughout and a crease in the upper right. Good to Very Good condition overall.
