Description

Brooklyn Dodgers ticket stub issued for a pre-season exhibition game against the New York Yankees at Ebbets Field on April 17, 1949, in which Jackie Robinson stole home. Robinson's successful steal took place in the first inning as the Dodgers defeated the Yankees 9-4. Robinson stole home 19 times in his career, and tickets from these events are among the rarest and most desirable of Robinson milestone tickets. The ticket stub (1-3/8 x 2-3/4 inches) displays blue ink notations on the front and reverse, but is otherwise in Very Good to Excellent condition overall.
