Description

Fold-over scorecard issued for a spring game between the New York Yankees and St. Louis Cardinals in 1938, signed on the interior and back cover by 13 individuals. Notable signatures include Dizzy Dean, Pepper Martin, Red Ruffing, Monte Pearson, Frank Crosetti, Lefty Gomez, and Ernie Koy. All the signatures are boldly scripted in blue or black fountain pen. The scorecard (7 x 14 inches; unfoled) displays a pair of fold lines, scattered creasing, and pencil notations along the interior. Good condition overall. Auction LOA from James Spence/JSA.
