Graded VG 3 by PSA. This is the ONLY example graded by PSA to date! Extremely rare example of Larry Doyle (New York Giants) from the 1912-1913 T215 Red Cross Tobacco (Type 2) set. T215 Red Cross is one of tobacco-card collecting's most overlooked issues. Very similar in design and borrowing images from the T206 set, T215 Red Cross cards are thought to have been issued exclusively in the Louisiana area. The cards measure 1-1/2 x 2-5/8 inches, which is the standard size for tobacco issues. The offered card has vibrant colors, a crisp image, honest corner wear, and excellent centering. The reverse exhibits bold, crisp print, an ideal quality for an example of this scarce issue. This is a very desirable sample from one of tobacco-card collecting's rarest sets.
