Presented is an impressive collection of forty-four 1930 Zeenut PCL baseball cards, each signed on the front (all purple ink) by the respective player pictured. The group is highlighted by Hall of Famer Ernie Lombardi. Condition is Pr overall (with one Vg), mostly due to back damage. Most cards offer a very presentable appearance from the fronts. This collection consists of the following: Allington, Baecht, Barfoot, Camilli, Caveney, Cole, Craghead, Cronin, Crosetti, Daglia, Dean, DeViveiros, Dittmar, Donovan (Vg), Dumovich, Edwards, Governor, Griffin, Hannah, Harper, Holland, Horn, Hufft, R. Jacobs, Jahn, E.R. Johnson, Knothe, Lelivelt, Lombardi (HOF), Mails, Martin, McQuaide, Mellana, Monroe, Mulligan, Palmisano, Pearson, Sigafoos, Uhalt, Vergez, Williams, Wingo, Woodall, and Zinn. Of the players with Major League Baseball experience, the year of death ranges from 1948 (Art Jahn) to 2004 (Bernie Uhalt). As is usually the case with Zeenuts, the coupon at the bottom of each card has been clipped away, as intended, to be redeemed for valuable prizes. Total: 44 signed cards. Auction LOA from James Spence/JSA.
