Description

Complete 25-card set of 1889 N222 Kinney Bros. "Leaders" trading cards. Each card shows a famous world leader and a related background scene. This set is highlighted by George Washington, Julius Caesar, Alexander The Great, Joan D'Arc, and Napoleon. Condition is 68% Ex to Ex-Mt (including a couple Nr/Mt) and 32% Vg to Vg-Ex (including a couple lesser and one trimmed). We have selected four cards for grading and encapsulation by SGC: Alexander the Great (NM 7), Miss Mary Anderson (NM 7), Mme. Recamier (EX/NM 6), and George Washington (EX/NM 6). A very attractive mid- to high-grade complete set of this classic 19th century nonsport issue. Total: 25 cards.
