Description

Complete 55-card set of 1966 Topps Batman "Black Bat" series. Batman took the world by storm in 1966 with the introduction of the wildly popular Batman television series and the subsequent feature film. Topps joined the bandwagon with several series of card sets devoted to the Caped Crusader. This classic set features brilliantly illustrated scenes of Batman, Robin, and the various villains of Gotham City. Each card reverse contains details of the depicted scene. Condition is 23% Ex-Mt to Nr/Mt, 55% Vg-Ex to Ex, and 22% Gd to Vg (including a couple Fr). This is a very attractive mid- to high-grade complete set of this popular 1960s Topps nonsport issue. Total: 55 cards.
