Description

Rarely offered example of Babe Ruth from the 1949 Leaf Premiums series. This premium was one of nine different "Baseball Immortals" available with the purchase of Leaf baseball cards. This blue background, no-text premium is one of three variations of Babe Ruth. Featuring a large black-and-white portrait of Ruth, the premium (5-7/16 x 7-3/8 inches) displays heavy creasing, chipping on the bottom edge, and glue residue on the blank reverse. Please note SGC declined to encapsulate the item due to the paper stock being too fragile.
