Description

Original news photo of Willie Mays as a member of the San Francisco Giants during the 1963 season. Encapsulated and certified as an original Type I photograph by PSA/DNA. The close-up shot captures Mays gazing into the distance. A pair of "NBC Television Network" paper captions are taped to the reverse. Also appearing on the reverse is Mays' handwritten name and a stamped date of "Sep 26 1963." The photo (7 x 9 inches) is in Excellent condition overall.
