Description

Very attractive 108-card complete set of 1951 Bowman "Jets, Rockets, and Spacemen," one of the most popular of all nonsport issues. The set features incredible science-fiction artwork illustrations of future space travel. When this set was issued, the miracle of space travel was still years away but very much on the minds of scientists, Bowman Gum, and young card collectors. Condition is 10% Ex-Mt to Nr/Mt, 40% Vg-Ex to Ex, and 50% Gd to Vg (including a couple lesser and six trimmed). This is a very attractive and mostly mid-grade set. Total: 108 cards.
