Description

Historically significant ticket stub issued for the first Seattle Pilots home game ever played at Sick's Stadium on April 11, 1969, against the Chicago White Sox. Graded EX 5 by PSA. The history of the Seattle Pilots is quite brief. Joining the American League as an expansion club in 1969, the franchise, due to financial considerations, was forced to move to Milwaukee the following spring. It would be another eight years before Major League Baseball returned to the Pacific Northwest. The ticket stub (4 x 2.25 inches) has minor handling wear. This is an extremely significant souvenir commemorating the first home game of the Seattle Pilots franchise.
