Lot # 2109: Miller Huggins Cut Signature - JSA

Cut signature of New York Yankees Hall of Fame manager Miller Huggins. Huggins' signature "Miller J. Huggins" has been scripted in blue fountain pen upon a small sheet of paper. The cut is also signed by Whitey Whitt in black fountain pen. The signature of Miller Huggins is exceedingly rare due to his untimely death in 1929 at the age of 50. In addition to being a former professional player and celebrated manager of the 1927 New York Yankees, Huggins was also a licensed attorney. The cut (4-1/8 x 1-1/4 inches) has light ceasing, a few spots of discoloration, and is affixed to an unlined index card; Good condition overall. Full LOA from James Spence/JSA.
