Lot # 2138: 1933 Philadelphia Athletics Team-Signed Baseball with Foxx, Grove, Cochrane, and Mack - JSA

Official American League, red-and-blue stitched baseball (Harridge) signed in black fountain pen by twenty members of the 1933 Philadelphia Athletics, including Foxx (sweet spot), Grove (sweet spot), Cochrane, Mack (Mgr.), Bishop (enhanced according to JSA), Coleman, Johnson, Cain, Dietrich, Rommel (coach), Mahaffey, Cramer, Miller, Madjeski, Higgins, and Finney. The year "1933" is noted on a side panel. The ball has light-to-moderate soiling and a number of scattered abrasions. All of the manufacturer’s stampings remain legible. A light coat of protective shellac has been applied long ago to preserve the signatures. In Good condition overall. Full LOA from James Spence/JSA.
