Lot # 2139: Circa 1930s Multi-Signed Scrapbook with Traynor, Hornsby, P. Waner, and Dean

Vintage 1930s multi-signed scrapbook features the autographs of approximately 100 former players from four different baseball teams: Chicago Cubs, Pittsburgh Pirates, St. Louis Browns and St. Louis Cardinals. Among the signatures in the scrapbook are those of Jim Bottomley, Dizzy Dean, Gabby Hartnett (two), Rogers Hornsby (three), Ted Lyons, Pie Traynor (three), Arky Vaughan (two), and Paul Waner (two). Most of the signatures are rendered in black ink. The scrapbook (10 x 12.5 inches) displays heavy wear and most of the interior pages have detached from the spine.
