Lot # 2205: Signed 1953-1955 Artvue (Type 1) Black-and-White Hall of Fame Postcard Dazzy Vance PSA/DNA GEM MINT 10

Black-and-white (Artvue, Type 1) Hall of Fame postcard of Dazzy Vance signed by him in blue ink along the base. PSA/DNA has encapsulated the card and graded the signature as GEM MINT 10. Vance was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1955 and he died just six years later. This short time frame no doubt contributes significantly to the scarcity of signed examples of his black-and-white Hall of Fame postcards today. This is just the fourth example we have offered in the past 21 years. The postcard (3.5 x 5.5 inches) has minor corner wear and pencil notations on the reverse. In Excellent condition overall.
