Black-and-white (Artvue Type 1) Hall of Fame postcard of Roderick ("Bobby") Wallace signed by him in blue ink along the base. PSA/DNA has encapsulated the card and graded the signature NM 7. Black-and-white Hall of Fame postcards were issued only between the years 1944 and 1963. Wallace was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1953 and died in 1960. That short window of opportunity for signing, combined with Wallace's relative obscurity and inaccessibility as a signer (though he would sign by mail - if you knew where to write and had great interest, which few did), accounts for the rarity of his signature in general today and in particular the rarity of his signed black-and-white postcards. This is just the sixth example we have offered in the past 21 years. The postcard (3.5 x 5.5 inches) has a light crease. In Very Good to Excellent condition overall.
