Original George Burke photograph featuring Hall of Fame New York Yankees outfielder Babe Ruth, beautifully signed and inscribed in black fountain pen. Ruth has inscribed the photo "To/My Pal/Charles B. Dillingham/From/Babe Ruth (signed)/Sept 1st/1931." This is a top-quality original vintage photograph by George Burke, one of the few masters of baseball photography. Ruth is captured with his arms folded as he poses on the steps of the dugout. The photo (8 x 10 inches), which has been mounted to a cardboard backing, has a few minor surface flaws. In apparent Excellent condition overall.
