Lot # 2127: Circa 1940s Baseball and Entertainment Stars Multi-Signed Baseball with Babe Ruth, Ty Cobb, and Tris Speaker - JSA

Unique “National Amateur Baseball Federation” ball signed by baseball immortals Babe Ruth, Ty Cobb, and Tris Speaker, as well as notable entertainers Bob Hope, Bing Crosby, and Joe E. Brown. Ruth’s signature, scripted in black fountain pen, appears on the sweet spot. Cobb’s black fountain-pen signature appears on a side panel together with Bing Crosby and one other signature (unidentified). Speaker’s signature, scripted in blue fountain pen, appears alone on a side panel. The signature of Bob Hope (blue fountain pen) is located on a third side panel with that of another unidentified signature. Joe E. Brown's signature has been scripted on the fourth side panel (blue fountain pen). This is both a remarkable and unique multi-signed ball featuring three legendary baseball Hall of Famers.
