Lot # 2161: 1935 Ty Cobb Signed Check - PSA/DNA

Bank check dated September 4, 1935, and signed in black fountain pen along the base by Detroit Tigers Hall of Fame outfielder Ty Cobb. PSA/DNA has encapsulated the check and certified the signature as "Authentic." The check, drawn on The Bank of California, is made out to “Cash” in the amount of $100. The check (8.5 x 3 inches) displays normal bank cancellation stamps and perforations as well as three vertical folds, light creases, and a missing upper-left corner. In Fair condition overall.
