Full ticket (5-3/8 x 2-1/4 inches) from Game 3 of the 1972 National League Championship Series between the Pittsburgh Pirates and Cincinnati Reds, held at Riverfront Stadium in Cincinnati, in which Roberto Clemente won his final game as a member of the Pirates, 3-2. The Pirates would go on to lose the next three games and the series. Unbeknownst to all at the time, the fifth and final game of the NLCS would be Clemente’s last, as he died tragically in a plane crash just three months later.
