Lot # 1179: 1954-1956 Spic and Span Braves PSA-Graded Near-Complete Set (17/18)

Presented is a near-complete set (minus one) of Spic and Span Milwaukee Braves consisting of 17 different cards (missing only Aaron for completion), highlighted by Eddie Mathews and Warren Spahn. All seventeen cards have been professionally graded and encapsulated by PSA. These slightly oversized cards, which measure 4 x 6 inches, were regionally issued over a three-year period and feature exclusively members of the Milwaukee Braves in black-and-white photos with a small advertisement for Spic and Span Dry Cleaners and script signatures on front. PSA Grading Composite: MINT 9 (5 cards): Buhl, Conley, Logan, Nichols, and Pafko. NM-MT 8 (6 cards): Adcock, Crone, Dittmer, Johnson, Jolly, and Thomson. NM+ 7.5 (2 cards): Bruton and O'Connell.
